[Service] Create Zepeto items with 3D modeling

Maybe you've once heard 'Zepeto', which is a famous metaverse platform. 

 

Zepeto is a 3D AR avatar creation application launched by Snow of Naver Z. By combining augmented reality and artificial intelligence technology, avatars that resemble uses can be created. Anyone can get profit if they sell item on Zepeto. 

 

But since items can be made only with 3D files, the entry barrier is high for non-major.

 

Today we are going to introduce the way to make 3D files easily with just two applications (VRIN and Blender) for those who are hard to make items.

Log in Zepeto studio

Zepeto is providing upload and test chances for anyone to make and sell items. 
You must use ‘Zepeto studio’, if you have an existing Zepeto idea then can log in with just QR code. You can upload the items and can upload the space with “Build it” application.

Then the next step is
1. Click the “item upload”
2. Click the "item category"

3D modeling

Making 3D items means making two files.
First, a 3D model file that has 3D coordinates of objects
Second, texture file that expresses superficial texture
Then you can download the required Base file through the Zepeto guideline. You can use a program called Unity to 

make it a single file with a Zepeto extension. 

You can just submit this single file to Zepeto studio.

 

"How to use VRIN here"

 

(1) Create 3D model easily with VRIN and download the 3D asset file.

(2) Import it to Blender (3D edit tool).

(3) Resize to the base downloaded from Zepeto.

(4) Export the 3D model.

(5) Save texture as png file.

 

So far, we have looked at how to upload items to Zepeto using VRIN.
As you can see in this process, VRIN reduces the time to create 3D models and textures separately.
