RebuilderAI (CEO: Jeong Hyeon Kim) participated in "SLUSH 2022", The World's Leading Startup Event, held in Helsinki, Finland, from November 17th to 18th.

"SLUSH", which has been held since 2008, is a representative global startup exhibition in Northern Europe where startups from around the world and leading investors from Europe or Finland meet.

RebuilderAI is a technology startup based on AI solutions that everyone can create 3D models easily and quickly. RebuilderAI has developed a 3D reconstruction technology that AI can make 3D in real-time when shooting objects at 360 degrees using a mobile phone. They are currently preparing a service that can create virtual spaces along with their own 3D scanning technology.

In this exhibition, RebuilderAI introduced VRIN scan and VRIN Space service.

VRIN Scan is a 3D scanner based on a mobile application that converts an object into a 3D model with an average of 2MB within 3 minutes by simply taking a 360-degree video of it. The 3D model made in this way can change the number of polygons or change the shape of polygons and can be exported to various file formats, making it easy to use on other 3D platforms.

VRIN Space is a virtual space business platform that provides space for utilizing scanned 3D. In other words, it is a virtual space creation tool that can easily edit and distribute virtual spaces as links. Users can edit virtual spaces and display scanned 3D models using the service and show products in the virtual space that they want.

The biggest difference of VRIN is that it can scan shiny or transparent products. And they said, "Our technology can not only estimate the exact light source from various photos and generate PBR textures of objects but also remove highlighted parts."

By the way, RebuilderAI is currently updating its technology development so that it can take two options-pictures and videos- of objects/spaces in consideration of user usability.
